About the role

This is a chance to be Neol’s first Senior People Partner. You will get the opportunity to shape the future of a very ambitious, purpose-driven startup by providing HR support and delivering great experiences for the team members. Hire to retire employee life-cycle, in general, is crucial to our success.

As a well-funded startup, we are prioritizing speed over extreme frugality. You will give recruitment support, onboarding & offboarding practices, benefits & compensation support, performance reviews, and learning and development services. More specifically you will;

  • Source and identify talent through creative and non-traditional methods
  • Develop strong partnerships with hiring managers and interview panels by creating job descriptions, providing guidance and support for interview scheduling, and - candidate pipeline management
  • Support with Benefits and Payroll administration
  • Compliance with various state and federal requirements in terms of HR and employee requirements
  • Maintain organization and integrity of Respondent’s ATS
  • Manage and schedule candidate onboarding

Ideal candidate
  • 2+ years of experience in supporting People/HR functions within a global growing stage startup
  • Experience with online sourcing techniques
  • Having good planning, prioritizing and organizing skills
  • Exceptional written and spoken English
  • Self starter, curious learner and a problem solver
  • Experience of working with purpose driven organizations
  • Having knowledge about UK Employment Law
  • Takes initiative, embraces constraints, thinks creatively
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with the comprehension to provide updates at all levels as well as the potential to tailor communications to suit a variety of audience
  • Are passionate about networked thinking and ecosystem building

Compensation

Neol offers a competitive salary, stock options, and employee benefits to all of the team members.

Location

We are a remote-first team. Currently, we have two main hubs: London and Istanbul, but we have distributed team members from GMT- 8 to GMT +5 timezones. For this role, we prioritize candidates that are located in Europe, between GMT+1 and GMT+3 time zones.

Start Date

We expect the candidate to be able to start working full-time as of January 2023.
