Embodying Regenerative Resonance

This February, I hosted a Neol Creative Gym titled ‘Release what holds you back: Embodying Regenerative Resonance.’
The session was a container. I took the team through some exercises from my program, and facilitated a discussion. The experience went so deep, the participants’ trust in it was so pure, and what was shared was so full of vulnerability that we decided not to release the recording. In its ephemeralness lay the session’s beauty.
So, what happened? Why did I choose to do the session and what is this all about?
I believe we are in a moment that is calling on us to remember who we really are, why we are here, and how each of us is connected to each other and to Mother Nature.
If we look at the state of the world today, it is apparent that we have forgotten. The signs range from climate change to nature destruction, persistent poverty, war, and loneliness. To compound matters, current socio-economic models of being and doing are driving us to a state of mass human burnout.
We need to urgently move from the state we are in towards a state where all of us embody regenerative states of being and doing.
How do we do this? We do this by intentionally tapping into our Regenerative Resonance, connecting who we are and our purpose to nature and humanity. The deeper and longer we stay in this Regenerative Resonance, the more we remember. The more we remember, the more intuitively we shift our ways of living, leading, livelihood and legacy to ensure that there is plenty for all of us, in this generation, as well as for all in generations to come.
As we tap into our Regenerative Resonance, something magical happens. We release that which is no longer aligned. We release what no longer serves us. We release what holds us back from living and leading in ways that are leading us into deeper states of burnout for ourselves and the world.
Regenerative Resonance is about intentional shifts
Modern society programs us to feel proud about being in a constant state of consumption and depletion. Whether it’s work, things, status symbols, it’s all about doing more to get more to do more to get more. Because of this, shifting into Regenerative Resonance needs time, space, and intention. It’s the intentional shifts of mindset, energy, and actions to align our ‘me, us, and nature’ that help us build, sustain and grow harmony with regenerative ways of being and doing.
We all build these shifts in our own ways. Some of us do so in solitude, others prefer to work with a person to guide and support them, and yet others prefer a group setting. Whatever your way, the most important part is to start the journey.
Sparkles of Fireflies
So what does all this have to do with fireflies?
Consider this: as you embark on your journey back to Regenerative Resonance, you may be tempted to give up, because does it really matter if you shift if no one else does? Many of us have been there, me included. Whenever that happens, here’s what I do: I think of fireflies.
If we were fireflies, there may be dark nights where we are the only firefly we see. Another night, we may find one or two other fireflies in the distance, and we all comfort knowing that we are there. Imagine, if there are enough fireflies that eventually light up, we may form a swarm of light, also known as….a sparkle. And perhaps then, we will find our way together to a world where all humans and nature can thrive, for generations.
